Stephanie English is a former National CMV Foundation Associate Board member who brings more than 22 years of experience planning and executing complex healthcare business operation initiatives and driving sustainable business growth for leading multi-billion dollar healthcare insurance companies. Dedicated to building effective relationships and providing support to stakeholders, executive teams, employees and boards of directors, she currently serves as the CEO of Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice.

Currently serving as General Counsel for the Massachusetts Housing Partnership in Boston, Danielle has had extensive experience with private and public financing sources. Her work in real estate includes helping nonprofits with structuring and financing complex community development transactions. Danielle earned her Masters in education policy from Boston College and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and she has a background with both the US Department of Education and the US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Danielle’s goddaughter, born with CMV, provides her with great passion and motivation. She resides in Somerville, Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Pesch is a board certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician and researcher from Ann Arbor, Michigan. A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, her clinical work focuses on evaluating and treating children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders and behavioral difficulties, including those with congenital CMV. She founded the Michigan CMV Project to increase awareness about CMV prevention in the Ann Arbor area and she is inspired by her daughter who was born with congenital CMV. Dr. Pesch resides in Ann Arbor with her husband and three daughters.

Andrew serves as Division CFO for Acadia Healthcare and resides in the Buffalo, NY area with his family. In 2020, Andrew and Amanda’s daughter, Brynn, was born with congenital CMV. Neither Andrew nor Amanda had heard of cCMV before her diagnosis, but they quickly found the National CMV Foundation to be an invaluable source of education and support. Despite the challenges, Brynn has shown remarkable determination and, with extensive physical, occupational, speech, and music therapy, has continually exceeded expectations.

A graduate of Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Boppana has been studying the natural history and pathogenesis of CMV for over 20 years. He moved to the USA in 1985, where he completed a residency at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He has completed fellowships in Immunology (UCSF) and Pediatric Infectious Diseases (UAB). As a Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alabama Birmingham, Dr. Boppana has contributed to 33 publications, with a research focus on the many facets of cytomegalovirus. His work has challenged the dogma that children with congenital CMV born to woman with a primary CMV infection during pregnancy experience most of the disease burden compared to secondary maternal infections.

Danielle is the founder of The Faithful Oak, a creative studio nestled in the beauty of the Lowcountry, and, as a children’s book author, she writes heartwarming stories that celebrate diversity and adventure. Danielle brings a unique perspective to the National CMV Foundation’s Board of Directors, informed by her experiences as a parent of a child born with congenital CMV and her understanding of how it impacts the whole family. She enjoys creating fine art and pottery and lives with her family in Charleston, South Carolina.

Benj is the Founder of T-REX. The T-REX platform is a white-label tokenization solution that provides a user-friendly interface and UX that allows asset owners to digitally and compliantly issue, allocate and manage security tokens, whilst providing an improved and highly transferable service for their investors.

Andy is a Principal Attorney at Cory Watson Attorneys in Birmingham, Alabama. His work is focused on helping individuals who have been injured by defective pharmaceuticals and medical devices as well as environmental toxic exposures. Andy was inspired to become a member of the National CMV Foundation's Board of Directors and to advocate for those affected by congenital CMV after his infant son passed away from a severe CMV infection in 2019. While not at work, Andy and his family enjoy the outdoors and can often be found hiking in one of Alabama's many beautiful nature areas.

Amy is a consumer-centric and digitally savvy senior marketing and media leader who drives innovative marketing and media strategies on behalf of category leading global brands, including: Uber, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Citibank, Victoria's Secret, MINI and Cisco. She resides in Portland, Oregon.
