Scientific Advisory Committee
The National CMV Foundation is proud to be guided by a 12 member Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC has membership drawn from leading pediatric infectious disease, epidemiology, audiology, otolaryngology, microbiology, anthropology, medical education, and neonatology researchers from across the United States. The SAC includes members with a diverse range of expertise to ensure that we fund only the highest quality research, and includes people with personal experiences of raising, treating or managing patients born with congenital Cytomegalovirus. In addition to advising our board regarding research funding, the SAC also ensures the accuracy of any material published or presented under the auspices of the Foundation.
